Pastor Willie Wilson Sr.
 

 

 
Willie Wilson Sr. grew up and attended school in West Philadelphia. Through Gods grace and mercy he was called into the ministry at the age of 21. 
 
During this time he served in several capacities including Evangelist, Sunday school teacher, Bible study teacher and in Music Ministry.  He toured the nation while singing with the Chosen Vessels.  He was ordained as a Deacon in 1978 at Galilee Community Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where he served for 3 years.  He was later licensed and ordained to preach the Gospel in 1981. He was mentored and developed under Pastor Phillip R. Curtis of Galilee Community Baptist Church in Philadelphia.
 
Rev. Wilson attended Manna Bible Institute and New Life Beulah Bible Institute during his tenure under Pastor Timothy Ruffins. 

He has 10 years of service in prison ministry and outreach.  He has provided over 25 years of marriage restoration counseling.  He also has 17 years of pastoral care experience.  For the past 17 years, Pastor Wilson has served as the Pastor of New St. John Baptist Church. He has shown himself as a spiritual man of faith, transparency, and integrity committed to God and serving His people.
 
Pastor Wilson and Lady Loretta Wilson are Founders of Fresh Fire Word of Life Ministries, and in April of 2006 The Ministry was officially established in Harrisburg.  Pastor Wilson preached his first official sermon as Pastor of Fresh Fire Word of Life Ministries on Sunday, February 4th 2007. The fire has been ignited and, "The Fire Won't Go Out".
 
Pastor Wilson is a loving husband to his wife of 28 years, Loretta Wilson, and the proud father of 4 children. His commitment to family extends to everyone he meets.  The Lord has given him a heart for people, a genuine need to see men, women, boys and girls, prosper in the Lord.
